Kristen Dittiger

I have been an Academic Advisor with the School of Government and Public Policy since April 2025.  I was a School Counselor at the high school level for 8 years and I specifically focused on College and Career Readiness for my last three.  I spent 5 years of my childhood in New York, 5 years in Louisiana, and 8 years in Maryland before heading off to the University of Delaware and I earning my BFA in Fine Arts in 2012.  I moved to Tucson in 2013, met my husband, and earned my M.Ed. School Counseling from Northern Arizona University in 2017.  We have four children (two girls and two boys) and four dogs.  I have lovingly deemed our house the “Dittiger Zoo”.  As a family, we enjoy camping when possible and prefer road tripping over flying.  My office is located in Social Sciences 322, so please feel free to stop by and say hello!
