Meet Brady Lary, Executive Vice President of SBS Ambassadors

Brady Lary at the SBS Student Lounge
Major(s): Law and Spanish with an emphasis in translation and interpretation
Favorite Class: LAW 404 - American Judicial System
Favorite Study Spot on Campus: third floor of library overlooking the mall
Favorite Thing/Place/Food in Tucson: I love trail running at Sentinel Park and hiking in Sabino Canyon and fish tacos from Illegal Petes.
What Campus Events/Activities Are You Most Excited About?: I am most excited for the outdoor rec programs on campus like sunset yoga.
Why Did You Become an SBS Ambassador?: I became an ambassador because I wanted to be in a leadership position and represent my college. I enjoy helping people figure out what they want to do and I thought this would be a great opportunity.
What Tips Do You Have for First Semester Students?: I would say definitely get involved in whatever catches your interest and especially in groups related to your studies. If you do not know what you want to do yet, that is totally okay! It is going to make your experience so much better if you join a club or organization not only to meet people but also just to have something else besides school to do.
Anything Else You’d Like to Share? College is a different experience for everyone, so focus on what you want to do because no one is paying attention to you as much as you think they might be. Create connections with anyone and everyone you meet, especially professors and professionals.
I also studied abroad in Barcelona in Fall 2024.
