2025 College of SBS Honors Recognition Celebration
This October, the College of SBS hosted its 2025 Honors Recognition Celebration to honor students who have had outstanding academic achievement in the previous academic year. Students and their families celebrated together on the Douglass Building Lawn and had the opportunity to meet SBS Dean Lori Poloni-Staudinger.
Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Student Success, Amy Kimme-Hea, welcomed students, their guests, and Dean Lori Poloni-Staudinger.
Poloni-Staudinger acknowledged family, friends, and students in attendance, as well as the support provided by faculty and staff, helping students achieve their goals.
“We know that college is not easy, and you not only persevered, but excelled and you should all be exceedingly proud of yourselves," Poloni-Staudinger said. “In SBS, we understand that it truly takes a community of support to reach our goals. I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the faculty and staff who have supported you, taught you, and mentored you in your learning.”
The dean also recognized students on the dean’s list, which is awarded on a per-semester basis.
“This is truly an amazing accomplishment,” Poloni-Staudinger said. “Congratulations to each and every one of you and thank you for being a part of the University of Arizona and the College of SBS community.”
